Estas Manos Coffee Roasters began with a coffee sourcing and production trip through Latin America. Much of what we saw were extreme hardships faced by small-scale farming communities and knew there had to be a better way to source and produce coffee.

During our time traveling through these coffee regions, we built relationships with farmers and exporters who helped lay the foundation for the roastery in the Bay Area. After months of living with and learning from these farmers, we left Latin America with the blueprints to Estas Manos Coffee Roasters and the beginnings of the Estas Manos community.

Knowing how important these farming communities are to the world’s coffee production, we thrive on building a roasting community that helps people experience the beauty of specialty coffee while also supporting the farmers who make it all possible.

Together with our exporters, we’re developing a new way of buying your next cup of coffee. When you purchase a cup or bag of coffee from us, you are directly impacting our family of farmers. These communities are focused on creating a better future, and we’re proud to personally work with them to help build a sustainable future for their community.
